Singer Kelis has finally sold her Los Angeles property, after knocking $500,000 off the original asking price, subsequently accepting a more modest bid of $1.699million.
The star — who shot to fame with her anthemic hit Caught Out There in 1999, before enjoying further success with such tracks as Milkshake, Bossy and Millionaire — initially put the property on the market for $2.195 million.
However, the 3,850-square-foot Glendale home — which comes complete with five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a swimming pool and breathtaking mountains view — had languished on the market since September last year.

She added: ‘I was like, “We’re going to have another baby in the family,” so now he’s like, “I can’t wait. I’m going to teach him everything.” He’s all about it. He talks to my stomach all day long.’
