AFL trade news: St Kilda makes big play for Scott Lycett, offers long-term deal

DAN Hannebery isn’t the only rival big name St Kilda is targeting, with West Coast ruckman Scott Lycett high on the Victorian club’s priority list.

The Age reported on Thursday night that the Saints had made an “aggressive bid” to lure Lycett to Moorabbin with a “substantial, long-term offer”.

It comes after the Saints confirmed their interest in gun midfielder Hannebery, who’s been offered a five-year deal (four plus another if he meets a trigger clause) by the club despite being contracted to the Swans until the end of 2021.
